The government scrappage scheme has just been extended so if you drive a car over 10 years old, you've got a bit more time to grab a MINI and take advantage of the scrappage payment. But hurry it's only been extended until the end of March (or sooner if the funds run out).
Business Secretary Lord Mandelson said: "If you’re considering buying a new car, you should place your order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, because the budget is strictly limited."
